6 Things Nobody Tells You About FIFA 2026 VIP Packages (Until You've Already Paid)

I went into FIFA 2026 VIP thinking I knew what to expect.

I was wrong about almost everything.

Here are 6 things nobody tells you until you've already booked — and why most of them are actually good news.

1. You Will Feel Uncomfortable at First

The first time a concierge calls you by name before you've introduced yourself... it's weird. You're not used to being treated like this.

The first time a driver opens your door and waits — not impatiently, but genuinely waits — you'll hesitate. "Do I tip? Do I just get in? What's the protocol?"

I've done it multiple times now and it still feels a little strange. In a good way.

What I learned: Just be yourself. Say thank you. Enjoy it. Nobody's judging you — they're literally paid to make you comfortable.

2. The Airport Thing Changes Everything

I didn't realize how much I hated airports until I didn't have to go through them anymore.

  • Commercial flying is a constant low-grade stress:
  • Did I pack liquids properly?
  • Will my bag fit in the overhead?
  • Is that person going to recline into my knees?

Private terminals eliminate all of it. You arrive, you walk 30 feet, you board. That's it.

I arrived at Teterboro 15 minutes before departure and had time to sit down with a coffee before we pushed back. Try that at JFK.

3. The Food Is Legitimately Good

I expected catered food to be "airline business class" level — edible but forgettable.

It's not.

The pre-match meal in a top-tier suite was better than most Michelin-recommended restaurants I've been to. Truffle risotto. Sous-vide lamb. A cheese course with proper wine pairings.

And the halftime service? They time it perfectly. The food arrives during the break. You never miss a goal.

4. You Can Negotiate (Sometimes)

This surprised me the most.

If you're booking a suite (not individual seats), things are negotiable. Especially if availability is high for a particular match.

I negotiated an extra hotel night into my package for the quarterfinals. The concierge just said "let me check" and came back with a yes.

The trick: Ask for what you want. The worst answer is no. And they're more flexible than you'd think for suite-level bookings.

5. The Best Part Isn't the Seat

Everyone focuses on the seat. "Do I get 50-yard line? Center field? Can I see the bench?"

And yes, the seats are incredible. But that's table stakes.

  • The real value is everything around it:
  • No waiting
  • No lines
  • No stress
  • No decisions

You show up. Everything is handled. You watch the game. You leave.

It sounds simple but it's transformative for the day.

6. It Changes How You Watch Sports Forever

Here's the most dangerous thing about VIP hospitality:

After you've done it once, regular tickets feel broken.

You notice the queues. The overpriced beer. The porta-potties. The 45-minute crawl to get out of the parking lot.

Things that never bothered you before will suddenly drive you crazy.

Is that a bad thing? Maybe. But I'd rather know what I'm missing than wonder.

Still Curious?

We don't hard-sell here. If you want to know what a specific package looks like for a specific match, just ask.

[Check availability for any match] — no commitment, just info.

Or reply to this post with your questions. I've tried most of the tiers now. Happy to give you the real answer.
